"Discovering these celestial stones was a turning point for me. They reshaped my creative path and sparked a deep, enduring fascination."
Stephan Liechti

Born in Bern, Switzerland in 1961, I am an Artist and Designer whose work is shaped by a deep respect for historical lineage. After studying interior decoration, I attended Sotheby’s Institute until 1988, where I immersed myself in art history and discovered the enduring power of cultural heritage.
My professional career began in Bern as an interior architect, leading to a pivotal role in 1987 with Tecno Spa Geneva. There, I specialized in high-end workplace architectures and furniture, working extensively with designs by Norman Foster.
In 1990, my path took a significant turn when I joined the family business as an independent antiques dealer. Working alongside my father-in-law, a distinguished expert in Middle Eastern archaeology, I spent years dealing with museums, galleries, and private collectors worldwide, specializing in Byzantine, Roman, and Islamic antiquities.
Throughout this journey, I have continued my work as a freelance designer, creating bespoke interiors and specialized retail environments - including shop-in-shops and exhibition booths - for luxury watch and jewelry brands.
My practice in archaeological artifacts led me, quite unexpectedly, to meteorites.
Meteorites are not simply fragments of the universe. They are unimaginably ancient, formed more than 4.2 billion years ago in the vastness of space.
Discovering these celestial stones was a turning point for me. They reshaped my creative path and sparked a deep, enduring fascination.
They are cosmic messengers, carrying both knowledge and mystery. Each one tells a story of their fusion in time beyond our imagination, yet they rest quietly in our hands, linking us to the origins of the solar system.
Their symbolic strength and natural beauty captivated me, inspiring me to explore how they could be woven into my artistic work and designs.
This was the start of the birth of my conceptual art that I have called “METEORITE-STYLE” ART OF THE 21ST CENTURY.
